Domenica Group, one of Cyprus’ most established real estate and construction companies, is looking for an organised and detail-oriented Junior Accountant / Accounting Administrator to join our Finance Department at our offices in Pafos.
This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on exposure to both day-to-day financial operations and broader administrative processes within a real estate and construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Support• Prepare and issue financial documents such as invoices, bills, receipts, and credit notes• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including processing purchase orders and weekly subcontractor payments• Support payroll processing in compliance with Cyprus regulations• Perform bank reconciliations and verify bank deposits and account balances• Record and update financial transactions accurately in the accounting software• Process business expenses and manage petty cash• Assist with month-end closing procedures and support senior accountants during audits
Tax & Registration Administration• Manage Tax Identification Number (Tax ID) creation processes for clients and employees, including collecting and submitting required documentation • Support VAT-related submissions and filings
General & Corporate Administration• Collect, classify, monitor, and process tax and property common expense payments, maintaining organised records• Liaise with banks (e.g., validating account details) and relevant authorities as needed• Organise, classify, file, and manage corporate financial documents (electronic and hard copy), ensuring quick and accurate access• Prepare periodic reports and summaries to support senior management and the finance team
Candidate Profile• 0-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar administrative/finance role; recent graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply• Basic working knowledge of Cyprus VAT and payroll legislation is an advantage, not required• Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, reconciliations, reporting) and comfort learning new accounting software systems. Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (e.g. drafting, summarising, or process efficiency) is a plus, though not required. • Strong general computer literacy, including confident use of email, file management, and everyday office software • Fluency in Greek and English (written and verbal) is essential• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines• Eager to learn and grow within a structured finance environment
